Aculinx has worked with Cornell Jewellers for a number
of years. On this occasion
Aculinx were commissioned
to redesign a website
previously produced by our
team.
Although previously fit for purpose, Cornell has grown rapidly, and a new website was required to showcase their beautiful jewellery. Items needed to be added to the website on a regular basis, so room for expansion was paramount without compromising the design.
A section to sale online was also something the company was eager to create.
Strategy
We were keen to introduce a fresh design to show how the company has evolved with time.
Stocking such brands as Georg Jensen, Fabergé and Links of London, we needed modern design that retained the professionalism that their loyal customers would come to expect.
After numerous discussions between our design team and Cornell, we produced a very clean design that most importantly was easy to navigate around and find items being searched for.
Result
The website now radiates a more contemporary look, appealing to an even larger target audience. Its look and feel now encourages users to visit local stores and order pieces online.
The website rankings in Google and Yahoo still remain very high based on the key words provided. Cornell have reported that numerous clients have contacted the shop asking after pieces of jewellery seen on the website.
Also, items have now been sold to customers all over the world which was a market the company was keen to enter.
